The team-taught Block II program was super helpful in preparing us for Student teaching. It is really exciting to see everything that was being taught actually unfold and play out. I am really confident in the decisions I get to make as a student
teacher.

The Office of Field Experience really knows how to help out if you need it in regards to your placement. Plattsburgh (through SUTEC) made sure no one who wanted the experience was going to miss out due to housing. I have had great experiences here at P.S. 108. The staff is really welcoming and willing to help out with any questions or help you may need. I was really lucky to have taken this opportunity. I feel I have learned a lot from both being in such a dedicated environment and working/ learning from such a skilled staff. Getting to be in such a diverse environment in one of the biggest cities in America has really been a rewarding experience.

Education classes at Plattsburgh State helped prepare me for student teaching. The Multicultural classes that we were required to take helped significantly. There are so many things that were talked about in lectures that I see in the schools that make me realize our professors were providing us with valuable information.

I have absorbed so many great ideas from the teachers at P.S. 108 to take into my classroom! My second placement at the school was in a bilingual classroom. I have taken about five years of Spanish, so it was interesting and challenging at times. This was a truly an amazing experience that I will never forget!
