At Plattsburgh State, we have made teacher education our specialty for more than 100 years.

Our Departments of Educational Studies and Services prepare tomorrow's teachers with the intellectual foundations, professional theory, and hands-on experiences that will be demanded of them as educators in the 21st century.

Baccalaureate degree programs combine everything that is needed for both graduation and New York State Certification. What's more, Plattsburgh State provides a full complement of Master's level teacher education degrees. This makes Plattsburgh State one of the most comprehensive teacher education programs to be found anywhere.

Administrative Staff

The Administrative Office houses the secretaries for all five education departments. Education candidates and prospective students are invited to visit the office to get information, make appointments with department chairs, leave notes or assignments for instructors, pick-up and drop-off various forms, and more.
