- About Plattsburgh
"The program is challenging and provides infinite opportunities and incentives to excel. My scholarly journey has been exceptionally rewarding."
Neisha Lestrade is from Dominica and is a finance major. She is an active member of several of our clubs including the Investment Club, the Accounting and Finance Club, SEFA, and Omicron Delta Epsilon-Economics Honors Society. Neisha has also received the Shipman Scholarship and our full tuition scholarship given annually to the most outstanding student in the areas of banking and finance.
I like the diversity of faculty and students here and the very warm and open environment. The finance programs are academically challenging too. Dr. Christopherson is well read, a great advisor and someone who is always willing to answer questions. I chose SUNY Plattsburgh because I heard about the program from other students who were very impressed.
