Our Students Have Access to State-of-the-Art Facilities
In the summer of 2000 the Computer Science Department received a grant from the SUNY Plattsburgh Technology Fund. A lab was established with 40 workstations, two servers, and a high-speed laser printer for exclusive use by Computer Science majors and students taking computer science courses. The lab is updated periodically to provide the latest in technology for the students. Students are provided with accounts, network storage and print quotas in a Linux environment.
There are two security systems to secure the room and its use. An identification card swipe machine for access to the room is operated by College Auxiliary Services. Only students in computer science courses are allowed access to the room. A motion sensor alarm system is activated after the labs operating hours.

Colored blocks indicaters a lab class/office hours are in session. You may use the lab during those sessions. However, please do so quietly!
