Communication Faculty - Peter Premo

Studio Manager

Pete has been in the communication field since 1963 and entered the commercial broadcasting industry as Chief Engineer and evening radio personality at WNBZ AM 1240 in Saranac Lake, NY.

Pete joined the staff of WPTZ-TV, Plattsburgh as a Studio Engineer in 1969 and remained at WPTZ for 24 years serving in various capacities including Transmitter Supervisor.

In 1993, Pete joined the department as the Studio Manager where he oversees all television and audio production facilities which includes field equipment and remote studios for hockey and basketball coverage.
