Master's in Chemistry Education
Our Chemistry Education Master Allows You To:
- Prepare for a career teaching high school chemistry and science
- Be elegible to teach in New York State
- Learn educational theory and methods
Master of Science in Teaching (M.S.T.) in Chemistry Adolescence Education (7-12) (42 credits)
This program, sponsored by the Chemistry Department and the Department of Educational Studies and Services, is one of the options available to students who want to teach high school chemistry and science. (The other is to apply to our 5 year B.A./M.S.T. program).
Graduates of this program receive provisional certification to teach in New York State. Please see the Adolescence Educational program for more information about the program, certification requirements, and studying at the Branch Campus at ACC.
