Business Faculty at SUNY Plattsburgh - Dr. Elie Virgile Chrysostome

Dr. Elie V. Chrysostome is Associate Professor of Strategic Management and International Business at the School of Business and Economics at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh. He also taught at University of Moncton and Laval University in Canada and at National School of Applied Economics and Management of National University of Benin. He is a research associate at the Walter Somers chair of International Strategic Management at HEC-Montreal and has been visiting professor at the Institut Superieur d'Informatique Appliquee et de Management (ISIAM) in Morocco. He has been Guest speaker at the Business School of Western Illinois University (USA). Dr Chrysostome has also been the head of Marketing and Sales Department for Pepsi-Cola in Benin. He also served as consultant in management for different public and private institutions.

Dr. Chrysostome is author and co-author of several publications in academic journals and books. His research works focused on the issues related to International Joint Ventures and Strategic Alliances. He was the chair of the International Business Division of the Association of Administrative Sciences of Canada in 2006, and served as Guest Editor for International Management (Academic journal of HEC-Montreal) and Associate Guest Editor for Journal of Comparative International Management. He's on the Editorial Board of different international academic journals. He's member of Academy of International Business, Strategic Management Society and Association of Administrative Sciences of Canada.

Dr. Chrysostome graduated from Laval University (Canada) where he earned his Ph.D. in Management.
