School of Business and Economics - Office of Career Opportunities and Internships

The School of Business & Economics will help you build your body of knowledge and professional skills in order to prepare you for your future.

One of the most important things you can do to improve your chances of landing that first job in your chosen field is to participate in an internship.

As an intern you will:

  • Do meaningful work in a supportive setting
  • Enhance your work skills
  • Build your confidence, professionalism and independence
  • Relate your classroom learning to real work situations

All School of Business & Economics internship placements are handled through the Office of Career Opportunities and Internships. In order to apply for one or more of these internships, you must meet with Mary Carpenter and provide her with a copy of your resume and your upcoming semester class schedule. Her office hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 10 am - 2 pm in Au Sable Hall, room 321. Mrs. Carpenter will submit resumes to the companies and contact students who are selected for interviews. The interviews will take place during the weeks of April 21, 28 and May 5.

INTERNSHIPS FOR THE FALL 2014 SEMESTER ARE NOW POSTED & INTERVIEWS WILL BEGIN APRIL 21.
