About Art Therapy

What is Art Therapy?

Art Therapy combines theory and practice from the disciplines of Psychology and Art to promote mental health wellness.

Art therapy is one of the fastest growing fields in both human services and mental health services. Art therapists work in a variety of settings ranging from private practice to agencies and hospitals.

Communicating through talking and creative expression during the process of Art Therapy allows people of all ages to explore and understand their psychological and behavioral health.
