What is Rent-A-Venture?
The Adirondack Experience's Rent-A-Venture is your source for convenient and low-cost outdoor equipment rentals.
Rentals are available to anyone with a Plattsburgh State ID.
Whether you're venturing out with just a friend, or want to organize a group outdoor activity in your dorm, Rent-a-Venture can help your plans become real.
What Can I Rent?
We have a wide range of high-quality equipment, from companies such as Scarpa, Atlas, Necky, Tua, and Karhu and new items are added regularly, so call us if you are looking for something.

All students, staff, and faculty.
How Do I Rent?
Call or stop by the ADX office. You can take care of everything all at once. We encourage you to plan in advance, giving us plenty of time to arrange for equipment pick-up and drop-off, and to confirm availability.
How Do I Pay?
We're set up to accept cash or check.
