Quiet Floors

One of the options available to you as an on-campus student is a Mandatory Quiet floor. All residents share in the responsibility for maintaining this Quiet floor; it is no way the sole responsibility of the residence hall staff.

Designed for those students who are easily distracted by noise or need extra quiet to focus on their studies, these floors have mandatory quiet hours every day from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m.

Courtesy hours, where students desire to study, sleep, etc. take priority over any other activity, are in effect the rest of the day.

Locations of Quiet Floors:

• Banks Hall 2nd Floor
• Wilson Hall 9th Floor (First-Year Student quiet floors are created on demand)
• Moffitt Hall 9th Floor
