Historical Archaeology Lab

The historical archaeology laboratory at Plattsburgh State is located on the second floor of Ward Hall.

It is the repository for a wide array of artifacts obtained from numerous Plattsburgh State excavations directed by Dr. Gordon Pollard at 19th century iron industry sites in the Ausable and Saranac River valleys.

Laboratory seminars are held in the facility, in which students catalog and analyze the materials they have recovered during field study.
